If you would be interested in assisting the county/city with your communications skills, please send me an email to vicepresident@kb5tx.org as soon as possible. Rick intends to contact the Chief at 0845 and will let him know if we have anyone we can task with some mobile assignments. We don't know what they might be, but the Chief is going to think about it tonight and will have some ideas in the morning when Rick contacts him. Minimum equipment would be an HT that can reach the Tower Road repeater, VHF 146.64 FM. If you have a more powerful rig in your vehicle, that would allow for more distance assignments.
